Birthdays, Badgers, Hand Doodles and Llama Things... Also Doodles.

Hai! Finally... an update. Perhaps not quite what I desired but at least it's something, huh? This is my first REAL update. My apologies for taking so long... I still don't have a working charger for my laptop so I had to resort to putting an old version of Photoshop on my dad's.... So the quality may not be quite what you (or myself) are used to... but that's alright. I really just wanted to show off some fun sketches and things I've been up to to prove that this place isn't dead or anything. :p

First and formost, a late late late birthday card thing I was working on for my two May 12th friends (you know who you are :P ). My only regret is that I had to do it without proper art supplies... so it's done in ballpoint pen, which I enjoy but the line work isn't exactly what I'd have liked.. oh well... I think it's cute at least.


Hopefully it's not too obscure... my humor may not be the best, lol. And sorry for the long wait... I had meant to get it finished the day of... bah.

Next I'd like to share an interesting airplane doodle I did on my way back here. I'm constantly trying to force myself to draw hands, and in complete boredom I did just that... and I really enjoyed the study.... also making the old lady next to me uncomfortable :)
Yeah, I know, not very exciting... I still kinda like them though. I still however HATE hands. And I am quite sure you will never convince me otherwise. So there. (I keed... convince me!)

Then... Then there's this bunch of doodles I did roughly based on an interesting blog event called Project Rooftop in which you redesign a superhero, while keeping their well known traits intact... I.E. keeping the character in character... $5 to the person who can guess the comic character I redid.

Well if you couldn't guess then you probably live under a rock anyway. Just kidding... Yes it is Sailor Moon, and yes I know it doesn't quite fit the criteria for submitting it.... which is why I probably wont. It's kinda a hero that was a big part of my child hood... I felt like I wanted to honor that cheesy, overly romantic, borderline hentai love of mine in some form of fashion. Since it's not a western comic, I don't imagine it'd be accepted anyway. I just thought it'd be fun to make a less girly fru-fru Sailor Moon with a bit of a wester touch to her. I intend to do a finished drawing if your interested, keep an eye out. I also want to try and submit something to the site. You should definatly check it out if your into comics and all that jazz! It's really sweet! So do it!

Lastly... A Llama thing...

Idk... it's a llama thingie :3 It was a cute doodle so I'm sharing. His name is Scruffington and he is very pleased to make your acquaintance. But he'll likely end up hating you all the same. >_>

Well anyway... this is more of a doodle-date than an update.... something to prove that I'm out there. So once I get my charger (which I just ordered TODAY, I know...) I'll give it my all and show you what I'm really made of. Until then keep an eye out for me and don't forget to comment if you see anything you like .

I'll be working on some interesting projects over the summer, one hopefully being a book... like a children's one... also tons and tons of drawing people practice, cause more is better and it never hurts. If you've got an idea for like a project I could do, I'm totally open to that too cause I honestly have a hard time coming up with things.
