Progression: History of Neffy

While mulling around the internet on the subject of Lunar: Silver Star Story, an old video game for PS1 that I loved a whole lot growing up... So much in fact that I fell into a hole of doing fanart based off of it. I stumbled recently upon a website Oekaki, specifically the Flying Cat Homepage , a site based squarley on the flying cat/dragons that play a big part in the game.

Anywho... the character I invented name was Neffy (or Nephy or Neffie depending on the time, lol), a, if I can remember correctly, Blue dragon. A fun loving fella with a passion for 'Gold Fish' crackers. Over the course of about two years he grew and matured into his own little character.

I even participated in festive drawings of him.

He even got so popuar that other members of the site would draw him in their own fanarts...

It seems that I stopped visiting there in 2005, for what reason I don't recall... but whatever the reason I stopped. Now, looking back on it my interest in his character design and the nostalgia of it I wanted to take a shot a recreating him with my present day style and ability.

And that concldes this session of Progression. If you dig this I may keep doing stuff like this... I've a lot of crappy old fan art I can revisit. :)
